DESIGN SERVICES

VIRTUAL

Virtual, streamlined and efficient while still embracing the creative chaos

To meet the growing demand for our design services, we’ve adapted our design approach to create a streamlined AND efficient approach for clients across the united states. Takng advantage of the latest in technology, our “virtual” clients can now benefit from our unique approach to design with shortened timelines, discrete deliverables, FIXED COSTS, and HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO CREATE a partnership with OUR INNOVATIVE DESIGN TEAM.

BELOW IS A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF HOW WE WORK WITH CLIENTS ACROSS THE UNITED STATES.

  • AFTER YOU’VE FILLED OUT YOUR INTAKE FORM ON OUR WEBSITE AND SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT FOR YOUR FIRST MEETING, ANTHONY AND / OR A MEMBER OF THE DESIGN TEAM WILL MEET WITH YOU TO DISCUSS NOT ONLY HOW WE WILL GO ABOUT PUTTING YOUR DESIGN TOGETHER, WE WILL ALSO GET INTO AN IN DEPTH DISCUSSION ABOUT WHAT YOUR GOALS ARE WITH YOUR PROJECT, WHAT ARE THE MUST HAVES AND WHAT ARE THE MUST-GO’S. WE’LL ASK FOR INSPIRATION IMAGERY (IF NOT PREVIOUSLY PROVIDED) AND GET INTO SOME OF THE KNITTY GRITTY POINTS REGARDING THE POTENTIAL TRADE-OFFS THAT COME IN EVERY DESIGN PROJECT. when this first meeting IS OVER, WE’LL PUT TOGETHER YOUR CLIENT PORTAL, YOUR TIMELINE AND START MOVING FORWARD ON THE DESIGN OPTIONS THAT WE THINK MIGHT ADDRESS YOUR PROJECTS SPECIFIC CHALLENGES.

  • ONE OF THE FUNNEST PARTS OF THE DESIGN PROCESS IS WHEN WE SCHEDULE TIME WITH OUR CUSTOMERS TO WORK ALONGSIDE OUR DESIGNERS AND SHARE OUR SCREENS IN AN INTERACTIVE DESIGN MEETING WHERE THE DESIGNERS AND THE CLIENTS WORK “SIDE BY SIDE” - EXPLORING DIFFERENT IDEAS TO BRING THE CLIENTS DREAMS TO FRUITION. NOT ONLY DOES THIS 75 MINUTE SESSION GIVE OUR CLIENTS INSIGHT INTO WHAT IT TAKES TO DESIGN, IT’S ALSO INVALUABLE TIME GETTING TO KNOW THE CLIENT AND WHAT OUR CLIENTS LIKE AND DISLIKE - AND OFTEN WHAT PURELY REPULSES THEM. THIS SESSION IS ALSO A GREAT POINT IN THE DESIGN PROCESS FOR THE CLIENT TO READJUST ANY DIRECTIVES THAT HAVE BEEN ESTABLISHED DURING THE DESIGN BRIEFING MEETING NOW THAT THEY’VE SEEN SOME PRELIMINARY IDEAS AND HAVE HAD THE OPTION TO BE A DESIGNER THEMSELVES FOR AN HOUR.

Fun Fact: Our designers do not share their designs internally during this conceptual round. Therefore, they’re seeing their colleagues designs at the same time that you, the client, is also seeing them for the first time. We think a little competition is healthy and keeps our designers from becoming stagnant in their design responsibilities.

  • Approximately a week after your design time meeting, we will email you to have you go online to schedule your design presentation. A few moments prior to your meeting time, you will receive a design packet from LeavittHaas with your 2 concepts, a preliminary list of recommended Finishes for your project and a link to our client portal where you will find the presentation of concepts as well as A liNK to the 3D walk-Throughs that every client at Leavitthaas gets as part of thEIR design services. We will walk you through the designs - largely to ensure that you have a thorough understanding of what we’re proposing but also so that all the hidden features that we believe make a home special need to be highlighteD. after the presentation, we usually ask our clients to contemplate the concepts and what elements work best for them and what elements just don’t. We have found that clients often choose elements from each of the designs and ask us to incorporate their favorites into the final design.

  • when the client is ready to provide feedback on their design, we ask them to schedule their feedback meeting using our online calendaring system. During this feedback meeting, our clients get to provide all their thoughts, pleasureS and challenges that the concepts brought to the table.

We encourage our clients to take as much time as they need in order to fully process their options - INCLUDING DISCUSSING THE OPTIONS WITH THEIR Local resources - so that when we conclude this feedback meeting, we can ensure that we are headed down the right path to giving our clients a finalized design that is both able to be implemented but also that gets the client as close to (or far beyond) what they ever thought possible.

  • After the feedback meeting., your lead designer will be working diligently to finalize your plans and detailing the BuildDoc™ with not only the plans for the house but also the finishes we’d recommend along with all the details on the selection - including the specification sheets for every product in your design package. when your builddoc™ has gone through our internal review system, we will send you a meeting request so that we can review the documentation and the design so that you can work with your local resources in an efficient and educated manner.

  • Design never truly dies, it evolves on a daily basis. and is constantly being influenced by exposure to contractors, friends, family, and experience. Should you ever need one of the design team to step in and join a conference call or a status meeting - for whatever reason - we’re more than happy to accommodate you In that manner. On the same page where you’ve been setting up meetings with us is the “post Design” schedule. There you can look at our calendars, schedule our attendance and take care of your bill so that everyone comes out of this project happy, healthy and knowing the client’s dreams may have just come true.

PLAN IT

SIMPLIFY your life

  • Homes need to evolve just as much as the people who live within the space evolve. But the house seems to be a bit more stubborn on adapting to families that are changing even more dramatically today then ever before. So while that formal dining room seemed so perfect when you bought the house and dreamed of formal family dinners, the reality of soccer games, plays, business dinners, the unexpected puppy, and the mother-in-law who wouldn't leave has now convinced you it's a gigantic waste of space. And that's where we come in: explain the frustrations of your current space, tell us what you really need to day and what you might need in the near future, and we'll work with you to find the right solutions so that your spae is maximized but still flexible - just like you!

EXTEND IT

Embrace the surroundings

  • The curb appeal of your home can hold as much as 20% of your homes value. COVID taught everyone that the exterior spaces of the home should be treated like any other room. It taught everyone how a true indoor-outdoor lifestyle can benefit a family’s well being. The founding of our company began with an exterior design project that drew the attention of the neighborhood. Since then, we’ve been working with homeowners to create highly personalized exterior spaces that transform the way they live, entertain and enjoy their dream homes.

OPTIMIZE IT

SIMPLIFY your life

  • Whether its that one frustration that is becoming untenable, or re-examining the way you thought you’d live in your home, home optimization entails more than just organizing that one area that always needs to be cleaned up or putting things in labeled Tupperware bins in a closet. Our designers work with our clients to determine solutions that can include home automation, speciality furniture or family centers, or identifying the sources of chaos that inhibit our clients from feeling that their home is their haven.
